  1. The safe operation of the equipment becomes the hiree’s responsibility once set up.
  2. Full payment is due no less than 1 week prior to your event. For last minute bookings, full payment is due upon set up of the equipment.
  3. Cancellations within a seven day period prior to the event will still be chargeable in full.
  4. The hiree is responsible for measuring the space where the equipment will be sited. The hirer will be charged a delivery fee if it is found upon arrival that the equipment will not fit or the site is totally unsafe for siting such equipment.
  5. It is the responsibility of the hiree to arrange appropriate lighting if the event is to be held during the evening or night.
  6. Please prepare the site prior to our arrival. In the summer months we run to a tight schedule to ensure all our customers are delivered to and collected from on time. Our delivery staff may not be able to wait whilst the access and or site is cleared and prepared.
  7. The site area needs to be free from stones, sharp objects such as washing line pole sockets, dog mess, and excessive mud. If there are any overhanging trees or bushes encroaching on the site area of the inflatable, these will need to be pruned back prior to our arrival. The unit cannot be sited where any side of it is brushing up against bushes, trees, fences etc…
  8. The hiree is responsible for any damage to or loss of the equipment and will be responsible for the cost of any specialist cleaning, repair or replacement.
  9. The equipment will be supplied in a good and clean condition. We do expect the unit to be clean on collection. Do not attempt to clean the unit with anything other than a damp cloth. Solvents & other cleaning chemicals must not be used.
  10. Any inflatable must not be used in severe weather conditions. If winds speeds are in excess of 23 mph the equipment must be evacuated and deflated . The safety instructions supplied instruct you as to the procedure in the event of the weather turning severe during your event.
  11. We reserve the right to cancel your booking on safety grounds if the weather is severe.
  12. For overnight bookings there is a £150 cleaning deposit payable on the day which will be refunded when we collect providing the unit is found to be clean and in good order.
  13. Two forms of identification are required for overnight bookings . A utility bill showing your address and another form of ID showing your name & signature such as a driving licence. We will be unable to proceed with the overnight hire if you fail to provide identification.
  14. If you are organizing an event or party where adults will need to use the equipment then please order adult grade units. Strictly no adults allowed on any children’s inflatable. Adult equipment is made very differently from children’s castles. Adults using children’s castles can cause damage to the unit and injury to users.
  15. We normally deliver our units in the morning and collections are made from 5.30pm on a geographical basis. We try to accommodate specific delivery and collection times. Collections after 8pm can incur an additional cost.
  16. The hiree is responsible for providing a safe electricity supply for the equipment if required unless generators have been hired.
  17. Force Majeure: Big Bash and Corporate Entertainment Ltd’s liability shall be limited to a refund of any monies paid for unforeseen insurmountable circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling our obligations to supply equipment or due to mechanical breakdown or equipment failure. In the event of a delayed start, our liability shall be limited to a pro rata reduction in the hire fee. No additional compensation payment will be made for loss of earnings or any other consequential loss.
  18. The hiree is responsible for ensuring that adequate first aid facilities are available if necessary.
  19. For equipment hired on a self-supervision basis the hiree is responsible for ensuring that all safety regulations are enforced and that equipment is constantly supervised as per the operating instructions issued.
  20. No sub-letting of equipment is permitted without the written authorisation of Big Bash and Corporate Entertainment Ltd.
  21. We reserve the right to withdraw any personnel, equipment or services from the site if our staff supervisors asses that the conduct of users or anyone else constitute a danger or risk the safety to themselves, other guests  or the equipment itself.
  22. We operate a zero tolerance policy for verbal or physical abuse of its staff. No refund will be given and the full hire fee will be due whether the equipment and or staff has been temporarily or permanently withdrawn.
  23. We reserve the right to replace any equipment booked to the hiree without notice or refund with similar type equipment and value should the reserved equipment become unserviceable prior to the hire booking.
  24. All sizes given are approximate.
  25. The hiree is liable for the full replacement cost of the equipment if they allow anyone other than an employee of Big Bash and Corporate Entertainment Ltd to take away the equipment.
  26. All prices quoted are subject to VAT at the current rate.
